Are you looking for a gentle and enjoyable way to stay active, improve your balance and meet new people?
Strong and Steady exercise classes are specially designed to help people improve their strength, balance and general mobility as they get older. The classes can help build confidence, reduce the risk of falls and support people to stay independent and active.
You don’t need to be super fit or have previous exercise experience. New people are always welcome, and everyone is encouraged to go at their own pace.
The sessions include simple, low-impact exercises in a friendly and caring atmosphere. Participants can work on improving muscle strength, balance and mobility while enjoying the encouragement and support of others in the group.
And the best part? After the class, there is time to stay for a cuppa and a chat — because keeping socially connected is just as important as keeping physically active!
