Introducing our Head Students 2025

Khatera Mohammad

Kia ora koutou. My name is Khatera Mohammad, and I am a Year 13 at Huntly College.

I am 17 years old. My academic goal for this year is to get all the required credits I need to get into Wintec to study midwifery, which is my dream job. My favourite music to listen to is old-school RnB. My favourite artist is definitely Chris Brown or Ne-Yo. My favourite food is probably pizza.

My plans for 2026 include getting accepted into Wintec and studying to pursue my dream job, midwifery. My goal for Huntly College will be to make this school cleaner and safer so we can take pride in our school.

Te Hau Tora

Kia ora. My name is Te Hau Tora. I am a Year 12 at Huntly College. I am also the student rep on the school board. My academic goal is pretty straightforward: to achieve NCEA Level 2. My favourite music is songs about LeBron James. One of my favourite foods is fried chicken. My dream job once I leave school is to become a personal trainer.

My goal for Huntly College is to build a positive school culture for all.

Nandini Bahadur

Hello everyone. My name is Nandini Bahadur, and I am a Year 13. My academic goal for the year is to complete my NCEA Level 3 so I can get accepted into medical school to become a surgeon, which is my dream job. My favourite music is Bollywood.

Something I would like to achieve for our school is to organise more school events to promote inclusion and togetherness.
