The end of Term 4 saw the last group of Te Kauwhata College Year 9 bowlers enjoying the use of Te Kauwhata Bowling Clubs new artificial green.
During Term 4 all of the College Year 9 P.E. classes had three weeks of the lawn bowls experience. The last group for the year also had the use of the ten new sets of Henselite bowls purchased from Bowls NZ, with funding from Sports New Zealand’s Waikato Tu Manawa Fund supported by Sports Waikato.
The students will use the bowls in Term 4 2016 to prepare for Inter-School Competition at the end of the term.
The Te Kauwhata Bowling club would like to take this opportunity to thank the students for their enthusiasm and excellent attitude during their sessions at the club. Also thank you to H.O.D. P.E. Kirsty Vodanovich and the College P.E. teachers for facilitating the sessions.
